Week 21-Save over Week 20...a little distraught right now

Week 21

It has been a long but very productive week!  We have officially purged the ENTIRE house, every closet has been gone through, organized and we donated about 200 pounds of STUFF.  A great feeling, Miss Kennedy is already having a huge impact on us and we like it :)

We (mostly me) have been searching like crazy for the perfect nursery furniture and decorations...and FINALLY a plan.  We will start construction in a week...YAY!

How far along? 21 weeks 

Baby size: Length of a Carrot :) 10 1/2 inches

Total weight gain/loss:+17 pounds Looks like I am at 1 pound a week, I have made a goal to no gain over 40...we will see how that goes!

Maternity clothes? Yup!  Used my "Bump Bucks" last weekend and go shorts and some new shirts, always exciting to find clothes I feel cute in :)

Stretch marks? Tragic, 1 on the right, 3 on the left hip.  I am cocoa buttering like crazy, Danny said to give into them but I just can't

 

Sleep: Even without the dogs up before 7 everyday this week, kind of a nice feeling being on time for work.  Last night I have my first crazy pregnancy dream so I have been up since 3:45 this morning :(  Hoping to not make that a habit as it made me exhausted ALL DAY!

Best moment this week: We finished organizing all the rooms and closets in the house.  Oh and work went by FAST!

Movement: Not yet, I am feeling kind of sad/worried that it hasn't started yet but I think i will be grateful once she is dancing in the middle of the night :)

Food cravings: Loaded Baked Potatoes have been my dinner of choice this week

Miss anything?: Normaly sleep (don't think this will ever come back) and my ability to control my weight.  I may not have always done it but this week I feel helpless and not loving my EXTRA large look.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not this week...

Have you started to show yet: Oh boy, I am sure I will be getting the "are you having twins" line soon...which I am NOT so that makes it tragic.  We have a couple of friends that are a few weeks behind us and most of them are BARELY showing...not this girl.

Gender Predictions: Beautiful Baby GIRL!! 

Symptoms: Ever growing belly, vericose veins :(

Labor Signs: Nope!

Belly Button in or out? In, but not as "deep" as it used to look.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody?: Pretty happy this week, but that can flip like a light switch if you are the right person and most likely work at Red Lion :)  or are a crazy client!


Looking forward to: Hoopfest this weekend!  One of my favorite weekends of the year and GREAT friends.  We are going to Walla Walla for the 4th to pick up our babies and have a BBQ with the family and starting to purchase items for the decorating :)

20.5 Weeks Half Way There-Danny's Perspective

20 weeks time is flying by
Thing you miss most about your life pre-pregnancy?:
Nothing really new to report this week.  I should keep a notepad for this subject.

Weight Gain/Loss?:
17lbs---Getting really hard to continue losing weight, but i am trying.
Emotions in the house?:
Really happy!  We have been organizing/cleaning the house which makes us both happy. 
1 thing every man should know about pregnant women:
Clothes shopping is 100 times worse when they are pregnant.  No matter what your answer is its completely wrong and you are an asshole!

Best moment this week?
We found out we are having a little girl!!!!!!  Which i knew before they told us during the ultrasound because the babies mouth wouldn't stop moving.  I wonder where she gets that from?? 2 Cassi's running around this place!!!!!

Most looking forward to?
Now that I know we are having a little girl, I really want to meet Kennedy Anne, but that will come soon enough :)

Deleted my post from last week.  Do any bloggers know how to get it back?  I forgot to copy and paste into a new post so just wrote right over it.  So sad right now especially since it was the announcement of little Miss :(

Week 19-Danny's Perspective

How Far Along:
19 weeks this time I know without asking :)

Thing you miss most about your life pre-pregnancy?:
Normal night of sleep.  Cassi has a tendency of waking me up to let me know she is having trouble sleeping.  Guess I might as well get used to it huh?
Weight Gain/Loss?:
17lbs---lost so far so good, but can I keep it up?!?  Lets just say oatmeal cake and K cookies are not helping.

Emotions in the house?:
Well lets just say......
1 thing every man should know about pregnant women:
Whatever problem she is having will be your problem too or you are the cause of that problem ;)
Best moment this week?
Andy's B day party and of course Oatmeal Cake!!!
Most looking forward to?
Monday...the big day! BOY OR GIRL :)

Week 19

We had a busy weekend!  Gma and Gpa came down and brought us this fabulous shed!  Danny and Gramps worked on it for 3 hours Saturday and we spent 7 HOURS finishing it Sunday...a very big project but we have now given ourselves a bunch more space for storing all the baby gear to come!  Thank you so much Gma and Gpa!!

 

 

How far along? 19 weeks 

 

Baby size: Heirloom Tomato :) 6 inches, weighing a whopping 8.5 oz

 

Total weight gain/loss:+15 pounds :(

 

Maternity clothes? Best things ever invented...I want an entire wardrobe!

 

Stretch marks? Popping up here and there...not bad yet!

 

Sleep: Getting uncomfortable but my fabulous husband bought me a body pillow today, PRETTY EXCITED!

 

Best moment this week: Hiring a new manager at work, the end of chaos is in sight!!  After training and a month of overseeing I should be back to just my job :)

 

Movement: I think I am feeling the baby move, I don't know what to look for but I assume it is the baby moving around, hopefully we will know for sure soon!

 

Food cravings: Nothing really, most things don't sound good so I eat whatever is in front of me. 

 

Miss anything?: Alcohol, been a rough couple weeks at work and I would love to have a bottle of wine :)

 

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Just funky smells but hasn't been too bad!

 

Have you started to show yet: Yes :) I finally look pregnant not just chubby wearing too tight of clothes :)

 

Gender Predictions: I am thinking sweet baby girl, Danny is pulling for a boy!

 

Symptoms: Aching back...chiropractor and weekly massages are starting to help

 

Labor Signs: Nope leaving baby in there for many more weeks!.

 

Belly Button in or out? Normal!

 

Wedding rings on or off? On

 

Happy or Moody?: Grumpy, not feeling the "glow" at all.  Stressing about work and every possible thing and then being very impatient and short, probably not the funnest person to be around at this point.

Looking forward to: Monday! We find out if its boy or girl, then let the planning begin.

Weekend in Walla Walla wine tasting/drinking at Doubleback

Finding out what we are going to have duh!!!!

Week 18

Just starting a blog for Baby Wynne and to keep all of our family and friends posted on the trials and tribulations of a "Cassi" pregnancy!  Here goes nothing :)

 

How far along? 18 weeks 

 

Baby size: A Bell pepper :) 5 1/2 inches, weighing a whopping 7 oz

 

Total weight gain/loss:+14 pounds :(

Maternity clothes? I try to pretend my other clothes still fit but maternity clothes are SOOO comfortable, I can't imagine going back!  Will definitely be doing some more shopping!

 

Stretch marks? Nothing yet.

Sleep: Eh, I miss the days of never waking up in the night, now I get up at least 2 times!

 

Best moment this week: I have a few! Being a week and a half from finding out for sure what we are having! Also finding out they make alcohol free champagne :) Winning my fabulous new barnwood Coug sign...house may be completely decorated before baby arrives, only 2 years later ;)

 

Movement: Nothing yet but I think we are getting close :) Weird feelings and pressures I can't explain on my upper right side and lower left side.

 

Food cravings: Dairy Queen Cookie Dough Blizzard...for every meal.

 

Miss anything?: Wine, Beer, Champagne, summer is definitely full of social drinking for us but I am coping because it is for a great reason! 

 

Anything making you queasy or sick:  No but most food doesn't sound good, when something does I just keep eating, thus my 14 pound weight gain!

 

Have you started to show yet: Yes :) By the end of the day I definitely have a belly :)

 

Gender Predictions: I am thinking sweet baby girl, Danny is pulling for a boy!

 

Symptoms: Dry scalp, weirdest thing ever.  I swear I am experiencing all these things that I have NEVER had issues with.  Also losing hair...yikes.

 

Labor Signs: Nope leaving baby in there for many more weeks!.

 

Belly Button in or out? Normal!

 

Wedding rings on or off? On

 

Happy or Moody?: Cranky, I haven't been able to kick the feeling the last few weeks, hoping it passes soon, I am sure Danny is too!

Looking forward to: Finding out boy or girl next Monday, counting down the days for decorating and official naming :)
